Mushrooms will be in full growth mode.

Candice has a passion for the outdoors. With a wide range of knowledge of wild food that can be found in Alberta's forests. She has the drive to teach others how to live wilder.

HOW TO PREPARE:

• Dress appropriately for the weather. We will walk rain or shine.

• Wear sturdy shoes. It is important to wear appropriate shoes/boots for being in the bush.

• There are no bathrooms or outhouses on trails.

• Teentime Ranch does have facilities.

• Bring water and snacks and baskets for collecting mushrooms. 

• Bring your cameras. This is not necessary but fun and helpful for identifying fungi. 

• Bring a notebook and pen. This is highly encouraged. I carry these to make notes about the fun fungi we find.

• Please, No Dogs.

• Bring your smile and an open mind to learn about the world around you.
